Eight HOSA competitors qualify for nationals

Eight Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students won medals or earned recognition for their outstanding performance at the 2025 state conference in Lancaster, Pa.

Eight Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students won medals or earned recognition for their outstanding performance at last week’s state conference in Lancaster, Pa.

They were among dozens of competitors from LCTI who participated in the annual PENN HOSA gathering held March 26-28 at Wyndham Resort & Convention Center.

The following students qualified to participate in the HOSA International Leadership Conference this summer in Nashville:

William Allen High School

Elaysha Encarnacion, Health & Medical Sciences/Academic Center
1st place: Respiratory Therapy

Arianelys Ferrer-Velez, Criminal Justice
2nd place: CERT Skills (Team)

Emmaus High School

Madilynn Roach, Criminak Justice/Academic Center
1st place: Speaking Skills

Parkland High School

Anijah Parker, Dental Technology/Academic Center
1st place: Pharmacy Science

In addition, Jeremyah Arroyo, a Louis E. Dieruff High School student in the Health & Medical Sciences program at LCTI, won a $2,000 Pennsylvania HOSA Scholarship Award.
