Field Service Technician

Pay: $53,000 – $70,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Bonus: 5% Bonus Potential

Territory: Southern NY, NJ and PA

Details on SITECH Products:

Trimble: machine control, site positioning, intelligent compaction, paving control, drilling and piling, and office software

Spectra Precision: laser levels, grade levels, pipe lasers, and laser receivers

Propeller: 3D drone mapping and data analytics

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all types of Trimble Machine Control Technology
Performing training and completing service work orders
Requirements: travel to customers, on site / some overnight stay when needed
Opportunity to grow (with identified strengths) – into sales, support, training, etc.
Represent the company in a positive, professional manner
Proactively pursue sales opportunities during customer interactions
Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies and training
Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in mechanical service – troubleshooting electrical software and hardware issues
Clean and valid driver’s license required (this is a road/field service position)
Must be computer proficient to be able to run diagnostic software and prepare service communications
Must have strong communication and high-level self-management skills
Physical Requirements:

Lifting (up to 60lbs.)

Push/pull (up to 80lbs.)
Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)
Hand coordination and reaching
Grip (30lbs. with both hands, 80lbs. with preferred/single hand)
Foot pedal operation
Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning
Outdoor work (as required)
